Moore Law Mediation Resolving Disputes with Integrity

At Moore Mediation, we believe that every legal conflict deserves a thoughtful, respectful, and effective resolution.

About Jeremy Moore

Lawyer. Mediator. Listener. Problem-solver.
Hello, I’m Jeremy Moore, and I’ve spent the last 45+ years wrangling legal problems, untangling conflict, and helping people find a way forward when things get stuck. I’m a nationally accredited mediator, an experienced lawyer, and a former tribunal president. I’ve chaired thousands of hearings, led large reforms, and worked with people from all walks of life — from city boardrooms to remote Aboriginal communities.
If it’s emotional, high-stakes, or just plain complicated, chances are I’ve been there before. And I’m here to help.

Achievements and Impact

Across nearly four decades, I’ve worn many hats — legal advocate, public guardian, tribunal president, mediator, and reformer. What unites it all is a commitment to access, fairness, and helping people navigate systems that often feel overwhelming.

Led the Guardianship Board of South Australia as President from 2008 to 2015, overseeing more than 3,000 matters annually involving adults with impaired decision-making capacity.

Introduced major systemic reforms that reduced delays, eliminated a decade-long backlog of reviews, and dramatically improved accessibility for regional and remote clients.

Pioneered the integration of mediation into guardianship hearings — achieving resolution rates above 95% without requiring formal hearings.

Special Focus: Working with Aboriginal Communities

I’ve had the great privilege of working closely with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, including holding hearings on the APY Lands. I always work with cultural safety, respect, and humility — because building trust takes time, listening, and showing up properly.
I’ve collaborated with elders, service providers, and families in remote communities to resolve disputes and support vulnerable people, and I continue to learn from the wisdom and leadership of First Nations communities every step of the way.

Why Choose Me?

Let’s be real. Mediation can be tense, emotional, and exhausting. But it doesn’t have to be confusing or impersonal.

Plain English, always. No legalese here.

Calm in the chaos. I’ve handled thousands of emotionally complex matters and know how to keep things grounded.

Cultural respect. Especially in Aboriginal contexts, I come with openness, humility and cultural awareness.

Decades of experience. From tribunals to bush hearings, I’ve been around the block (and across the state).

A little dry humor. Just enough to keep things human.
